There is a reason why films remain timeless. This is because art is universal. The stories that resonate the most are inherently the most human. Characters overcoming challenges, facing their fears, and experiencing the human condition is what shifts us from the seat and towards the screen. It is the films that challenge their viewers to question their purpose in this world that unlock our hopes, dreams, and emotional immune systems. As a filmmaker, this is what I want people to experience. I want to change the world through art, taking the steps to curate and ensure this attribute in every project I touch- shepherding and developing films while simultaneously elevating the voices of underrepresented communities through diversity, inclusion, wonder, and awe.
